Chigozie Nweke-Eze

Dr. Chigozie Nweke-Eze is currently a Postdoctoral Research Associate at the Environmental Change Institute, School of Geography and the Environment, University of Oxford. His research critically assesses the governance, financing and geographies of energy transition and climate change actions, their public perceptions, and their implications for climate justice and social equity. He has previously worked as a Research Associate at the University of Bonn and the Research Institute for Sustainability Potsdam, as well as Project Lead at the German Development Organization (GIZ) and the Renewable Energy Policy Network for the 21st Century (REN21) in Paris. He holds MA in Development Economics and International Studies from the University of Erlangen-Nuremberg and Ph.D on Financing, governance, and infrastructures of Large-scale Renewable Energy Projects at the Institute of Geography, University of Bonn. He is the founder of Integrated Africa Power (IAP).
