Hamed Assaf

Hamed Assaf is the Interim Dean of the School of Engineering at the American University of Ras Al Khaimah (AURAK). His research focuses on the intersection of water-resources management and climate change, specifically regarding disaster risk, hydroeconomic modeling, and life-cycle assessment. A frequent collaborator with international bodies such as the WMO, UNDP, and JICA, Assaf is a recognized expert on climate adaptation strategies throughout the Arab region.
