Jérémy Bachelier
Commander Jérémy Bachelier is a former military fellow at Ifri's Security Studies Center (CES) and Defense Research Unit (LRD). A French Navy officer, his career has been primarily dedicated to external operations, serving in both operational units and strategic headquarters in France and abroad. He is a graduate of the French Naval Academy and the French War College, and holds a Master’s degree in Geopolitics from the Sorbonne. He has taken part in numerous air and maritime operations, both national and coalition, as well as humanitarian and evacuation missions, and broader state maritime actions. His experience spans all major oceans, and his recent positions enable him to contribute to analyses on Indo-Pacific, maritime security, and strategic issues. He also oversaw the Paris Naval Conference jointly organized by the French Navy and Ifri.
