Kamyar Kayvanfar

Kamyar Kayvanfar is a native Persian and English speaking communications and public affairs professional with experience at EY and Kreab. At Kreab, he has worked on EU financial regulations, sustainable finance, and advocacy, while also supporting EY projects for the European Commission’s DG GROW.

His background includes monitoring political and economic developments, drafting executive briefs, and contributing to lobbying strategies on the EU policies. He also serves as an expert speaker and contributor at the Observer Research Foundation (ORF), providing analysis on regional and geopolitical issues.

Kamyar’s academic research has centered on Middle Eastern affairs including asymmetric warfare in the Syrian Civil War as well as European lobbying and governance. He holds two master’s degrees in European Public Affairs (Maastricht University) and European Studies (KU Leuven), and a bachelor’s degrees in Political Science and International Relations (University of Essex).
