La Toya Waha

Dr. La Toya Waha is Executive Lead for Geopolitical Foresight and Security Strategy at a global leader in enterprise applications and business AI, where she translates geopolitical analysis into strategic foresight for public and private sector actors engaged in safeguarding national security and digital sovereignty. In this role, she also leads the build-out of geopolitical strategic foresight AI capabilities. Her work sits at the intersection of applied research and private sector strategy — a combination she has built across a career spanning policy advisory, think tank research, and executive roles. Prior to her current position, she drove the growth of the Konrad Adenauer Foundation's South Asia portfolio as Deputy Director of the Regional Programme Political Dialogue Asia in Singapore, and contributed to the study of transnational security threats as a policy advisor in the Foundation's think tank division in Berlin. Dr. Waha has conducted policy-focused research on transnational and national security threats across Asia and Europe, and has held visiting fellowships at leading research institutions across these regions. She joined the Observer Research Foundation Middle East as a Visiting Fellow in Dubai.
