Sharon Sarah Thawaney

Sharon Sarah Thawaney is the Executive Assistant to the Director - ORF Kolkata and CNED, Dr. Nilanjan Ghosh. She holds a Master of Social Work (MSW) degree from St. Xavier's University, Kolkata, and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science (Honours) from St. Xavier's College, Kolkata.

Sharon is a dedicated social worker with a strong interest in research areas such as public health, sustainable development, climate, and gender issues. She has acquired invaluable experience through her active involvement with organizations like the Indian Red Cross Society Kalimpong District, and Calcutta Rescue, where she has made significant contributions to various social initiatives and projects.
