Leyla Turayanova

Leyla Turayanova is a Visiting Fellow with ORF’s Strategic Studies Programme. She is also a Research Fellow at the Center for the Indo-Pacific Region of the IMEMO RAS. Her research focuses on India’s foreign policy, specifically its relations with Afghanistan and Russia.

She was a previously a Special Reporter with TASS and a member of the press pool of the Russian Foreign Minister. Leyla has also worked as a Scientific Editor for the RBC India media project, a collaboration between RBC and Sber, on the Russia-India business partnership.
